The set of rules SP 28.13330.2017 applies to the design of corrosion protection for building structures (concrete, reinforced concrete, steel, aluminum, wood, stone and chrysotile cement), both newly erected and reconstructed buildings and structures. This set of rules establishes technical requirements for corrosion protection of building structures of buildings and structures when exposed to aggressive environments with temperatures from -70 °C to +50 °C.

This set of rules does not apply to the design of protection of building structures against corrosion caused by radioactive substances, as well as to the design of structures made of special concretes (polymer concrete, acid-resistant, heat-resistant concrete, etc.).
