Денситометр ДНС-2 предназначен для измерения визуальной диффузной оптической плотности черно-белых фотоматериалов на прозрачной подложке и радиографических снимков. Измерение оптической плотности материалов на денситометре проводится с использованием негатоскопа с регулируемой яркостью.
Основная область применения измерителя оптической плоности ДНС-2 – анализ оптической плотности светофильтров, прозрачных плёнок. Применим для нерассеивающих прозрачных сред. Предназначен для контроля сварных соединений из металлов и их сплавов, выполненных сваркой плавлением по радиографическим снимкам.
