New GOST 59286-2020 "Non-destructive testing. Leak detection. Terms and definitions"

The company EXPERT NK LLC took an active part in the development of GOST 59286-2020 "Non-destructive testing. Leak detection. Terms and definitions", which comes into force on March 1, 2021 on the basis of the Order of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology No. 1436-st dated December 29, 2020

This document introduces new terms and definitions of basic concepts in the field of leak detection during non-destructive quality control of materials, semi-finished products of vessels, apparatus, boilers and pipelines. The standard takes into account trends and approaches used in European and other international standards in the field of leak detection.
