Contact thermometer TK-5.06S is designed to measure the temperature of various media, relative air humidity by direct contact of the probe with the object of measurement. When using humidity probes in the TK-5.06S thermometer, it is possible to calculate the dew point temperature using the Goff-Gratch formula. The digital thermometer TK-5.06S consists of an electronic unit and replaceable probes. Thermoelectric converters (TP) with НСХ according to GOST R 8.585 are used as thermosensitive elements in the probes. Capacitive humidity sensors are used as a measuring element in RH probes.

For the convenience of users, TK-5.06S thermometers are equipped with a large indicator, with numbers 1.5 times larger than on previous versions of devices, there is an indication of the dimension of the measured value.
